With our Surf Securely service you can unblock websites that may otherwise be blocked by your Internet Provider. It is a web based proxy using the incredibly fast and lightweight Glype script. You can access most login required sites such as Google, Yahoo, etc. but you aren’t able to view sites like YouTube and Hulu at the current moment (working on it). The script has quite a few options such as removing Java scripts, Flash, Referrer, etc. You can even tunnel our web based proxy through another proxy server, making it that much more secure. Remotely access your music and video collection

With Winamp Remote you can view your MP3 and/or Video collection from any computer through a standard web browser. Given your upload speed is appropriate you can stream anything from your music collection, which includes Video clips.

You’ll need ports 80 and 554 forwarded on your modem/router for their DirectStream functionality.

With MaxBlogPress’ FavIcon WordPress Plugin you can easily switch between favicons without a hassle. I’m using Firefox and the updated favicons show up automatically…
This means you can switch your favicon whenever you want, for an added look to your blog. You can use your own image or pick from one of the many that come with the plugin.

Create free ringtones from your own songs

With Mobile17 you can create ringtones from your own music files. Where ringtone providers will charge you an arm and a leg, Mobile17 lets you upload an mp3/wav of your favorite song, then pick a clip out of the song. It then sends you the file, through a picture e-mail or something similar where you can select it to play as a ringtone. They claim to be compatible with over 95% of available cell phones so chances are you won’t have a problem being able to upload and create your own free ringtones. The wait time can be over 2 hours, but if you donate some money they will give you ‘Express’ credits, or you could always buy a subscription.

Web Based Online Torrent Client

If you’ve got a dedicated or even semi-dedicated server with lots of space and bandwidth, why not install a web based torrent client capable of everything a software version is capable of? TorrentFlux is a free web torrent client that runs on a HTTP web server. It is implemented on the LAMP stack. Manage all of your Torrent downloads through a convenient web interface from anywhere. This can also be installed on your linux/windows machine and run as a server from your PC.

I installed it on one of my previous hosts, but it didn’t work as it was supposed to since I was using a shared hosting plan. However, I could still get a feel for how extensive this script is. You can download files, upload your own torrents, manage your files and torrents plus many other options. Here is a list of the features straight from their website:
